The goal of this project was to direct and executive produce a global commercial for OMEN’s cobranded Valorant Edition PC, premiering at Valorant Champions in Paris. The campaign aimed to energize fans by connecting the aesthetics of Valorant’s in-game world with real-life gaming setups—turning a product showcase into a cinematic moment of recognition and belonging.

Background

OMEN collaborated with Riot Games and Intel to launch a cobranded OMEN 35L desktop designed around Valorant’s distinct visual identity. The product represented a fusion of hardware innovation, game-inspired design, and esports fandom. The challenge was to craft a story that celebrated both the artistry of the Valorant universe and the dedication of its player community.

 

Objective

As Director and Executive Producer, I oversaw the full creative and production process.
In my EP role, I managed cross-brand alignment across OMEN, Riot, and Intel - balancing creative vision with logistical coordination, budgets, and brand attribution needs.
As Director, I pitched to clients, led the live-action production, refined the script, and directed both on-set performances and animated elements designed for web and marketing assets.

The commercial, titled “The Missing Piece,” centers around a passionate Valorant fan returning to his room, a shrine of memorabilia filled with posters, plushies, and collectibles. Yet amidst the perfect display, something feels wrong: a plain white PC sits awkwardly at the center. The tension resolves as he replaces it with the Valorant Edition OMEN 35L, completing the setup and unifying his space’s design. The ad playfully illustrates how the right gear doesn’t just perform - it belongs.

The spot became one of OMEN’s most viral campaigns, generating significant social engagement across multiple platforms. Through creative integration of Intel branding and Valorant storytelling, we maximized co-brand funding while delivering a campaign that authentically resonated with the gaming community.
